TCT_SIM is a paper trading simulator for educational and entertainment purposes only. It does not involve real money, real securities, real commodities, or real financial instruments of any kind.

The Crude Trader is not registered with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) as an investment adviser, research analyst, or stockbroker. Nothing on this platform constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any recommendation to buy or sell any security, commodity, or financial instrument.

All patterns, scenarios, and simulations are for educational purposes only. Past simulated performance does not guarantee future real trading results. Trading real financial instruments carries substantial risk of loss.

Do not make real trading decisions based on anything you see or learn on TCT_SIM.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using TCT_SIM ("the Service") at thecrudetrader.in/sim/, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. WHAT TCT_SIM IS

TCT_SIM is a browser-based pattern recognition simulator. It uses fictional price action generated from pre-built scenario templates to teach trading pattern identification. It is:

A simulator only — all trades are virtual, no real money is involved.
An educational tool — designed to build pattern recognition skills.
Not a brokerage, trading platform, or financial service.
Not a game of chance — outcomes depend on skill and knowledge, not luck.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for users in India and may be used globally for educational purposes.

4. USER ACCOUNTS

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for:

Keeping your account credentials secure.
All activity that occurs under your account.
Choosing a username that does not impersonate others or violate any rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract scenario content, pattern data, or any other content from the Service.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our scenario algorithms or variant logic.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service.
Share, resell, or redistribute our scenario content without written permission.
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
Use the Service to mislead others into making real financial decisions.
Impersonate any person or entity on the leaderboard or in usernames.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on TCT_SIM — including but not limited to scenario designs, pattern logic, narrations, UI, and branding — is owned by The Crude Trader and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Your user-generated content (username, trade history) remains yours. By posting it, you grant us a licence to display it within the Service (e.g. on the leaderboard).

7. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

Free tier access is available without payment. PRO tier subscriptions, when available, will be governed by additional subscription terms presented at the time of purchase. All prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes. Refund policy will be specified at the point of purchase.

8. DISCLAIMERS

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
  

We are not liable for any losses — financial or otherwise — arising from your use of the Service or from applying simulated patterns to real trading.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Crude Trader's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim (which may be ₹0 for free tier users).

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified on the Service. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
